Burquitlam.Business is a launch-marketing service. We help trades, home-service firms and other local businesses get found, called and chosen when they open, move or add a location in the Burquitlam–Lougheed area. It's a Canadian business, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies.

Why a launch-only focus

Most marketing services are built for businesses that are already running. They assume reviews, a history of enquiries and a site with years of search data. A business opening next month has none of those, and the work in front of it is different: get the name right before the sign is made, build a profile for a unit the map barely knows, publish a site before there is anything to photograph.

We chose to specialise in that window for this area because the conditions repeat. Coquitlam's neighbourhood plans steer new buildings towards the two SkyTrain stations, so new commercial units keep appearing near Burquitlam and Lougheed. Each new tenant faces the same short list of problems, and a method that solves them once can be applied, carefully, to the next.

Who leads it

Burquitlam.Business is led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. Ali holds an MBA in Technology Management and has 17+ years of experience in digital marketing, starting in 2007, when he founded ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver.

He has built 150+ live HVAC websites, including CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca and Roma Heating & Cooling. Beyond HVAC, Ali started Conv.ca, which focuses on conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca; at SAZ.ca he serves as Founder and Managing Partner. His clients have been in Canada, the USA and Dubai. More is on his Sedighi.ca profile.

That HVAC background matters here for one reason. Heating and cooling is a hard, local, phone-driven market, and launching new divisions and sites in it taught a repeatable discipline: dated plans, clean listings, fast sites and honest measurement. That discipline is what we bring to a Burquitlam storefront or trade, while being clear that our published numbers are results from our HVAC work, not from your sector.

The group behind it

Burquitlam.Business sits inside a larger, Canadian group:

  • Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company. The brands it runs include Trades.Agency, whose plans this site uses, along with HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca.
  • SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone) is the group's Canadian strategy firm, also founded by Ali, working on AI, strategy and faster revenue growth.
  • Trades.Agency is the parent brand for our plans and methods. Burquitlam.Business uses its pricing and delivery model, applied to launches in this area.

How we work

Our working rules are short, and they appear in every proposal:

  1. Work backwards from the date. Every plan starts with your target opening day and counts back, not forward from whenever we happen to begin.
  2. Write it down. You get a dated plan with an owner on each line, so you always know what is due and who is doing it.
  3. You own everything. Domains, profiles, ad accounts and analytics are set up in your name. If you leave, they stay with you.
  4. Measure what pays. We report calls, texts and emails first, because those are what keep the lights on. Traffic and impressions come second.
  5. Say no when it's right. If ads can't pay back at your margins, or a launch timeline is unrealistic, we tell you before you spend.
  6. Plain language. No jargon in reports, and no promises of rankings or customer numbers.

What we are not

We are a marketing and business consulting service for trades and local businesses. Nothing we sell involves tools: we are not a contractor and never install, repair or service equipment. We also don't build fit-outs, install signs, arrange permits or give legal or regulatory advice. Where your launch needs those things, you'll work with the relevant trades, the city and your own advisers; we make sure the marketing is ready when they finish.

We also don't keep an office in Burquitlam or offer walk-in visits. We work by phone, text and email, which is how most owners in the middle of a launch prefer to work anyway.

Getting started

Read how the work is structured on the services page, see the proof on the results page, and check plan prices on the pricing page. Then contact us by call, text or email with your opening date.

Frequently asked questions

Who will I actually deal with?

A senior strategist from the first conversation, with Ali Sedighi responsible for the approach. You won't be handed to a junior account rep after the sale.

Are you a local office in Burquitlam?

No. We are a Vancouver-headquartered service that meets Burquitlam–Lougheed businesses by video call or in person, and works by phone, text and email. We focus on this area's launch conditions rather than claiming a storefront here.

Are you a contractor or a sign company?

Neither. We plan and run marketing and give business advice. We don't install, repair, service or build anything.

How is this related to Trades.Agency?

Burquitlam.Business runs on Trades.Agency's plans and methods, which are part of the Sedighi.ca group. The plans and prices are the same ones listed on Trades.Agency.
